Almost perfect
The transformer bench was an ideal solution for our small lake house that soometimes has a lot of guests. It arrived being exactly as we hoped and the wood is beautiful. The was just one small problem as on of the seat panels won't fit as it should as the pins and hole are slightly off.
We typically will not need all seat sections, so overall it will work great. I can probably either bend a pin or drill out a hole and make it work if needed.

Ingenious set up!
I just recently received the transformer table and 2 benches that I ordered and I am in awe of the clever design! We have a small open concept cottage and do not need a table taking space on a daily basis. I came across the Transformer furniture and decided this is EXACTLY what we needed! At present the table and 1 bench are stacked against a wall as a decorative console table and the other bench is being used as an end table.
The set seems of high quality, it is solid and heavy!
The benches need 2 people to move them because the leaves are stored in them, I guess this is why the table design is not the same as the benches. If the leaves were stored in the table it would be too heavy and would require 3 or 4 people to move it!
I would say the only downfall of this set is finding storage for the table leaves.
This set will be extremely useful come Thanksgiving and Christmas when I have groups of people here for dinner. I can't wait to try it out!
