What are the dimensions of the Nova Dining Table?

The Nova Dining Table is designed to feel composed in everyday use and expansive when fully opened. In its closed form, this extendable table features a square footprint measuring 111.6 × 111.6 cm (43.9 × 43.9 in), ideal for daily meals without overwhelming the room. When extended, the dining table reaches 264.6 cm (104.1 in) in length and 111.6 cm (43.9 in) in width, comfortably accommodating up to ten guests. Across all configurations, the extendable table maintains a consistent height of 76.7 cm (30.1 in) for comfortable, ergonomic dining.

How do I clean my wood dining table?

Caring for your wood dining table starts with simple, regular upkeep. Begin by wiping the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and everyday spills. For occasional deeper cleaning, use a mild soap diluted in water, then dry the table thoroughly to prevent moisture from settling into the wood. Avoid abrasive materials or strong chemical cleaners, as these can compromise the finish over time. With gentle, consistent care, your table will retain its beauty and strength through daily use and large gatherings alike.

How do I protect my wood dining table from scratches?

Protecting your wood dining table is mostly about mindful use and simple routines. To start, place mats or cloth runners on the table when serving heavier dishes or setting down objects that could cause marks. Always lift plates, bowls, or decorations instead of dragging them across the surface, since grit or rough edges can create fine scratches. Keeping the table free of dust and particles also helps, because abrasive bits can wear at the finish over time. With these habits, your table stays smooth and vibrant for years of daily use and lively gatherings.

What size extendable dining table set do I need to buy?

Choosing the right extendable dining table set depends on both your space and your hosting needs. Begin by measuring your dining area and ensuring there’s at least 36–48 inches (90–120 cm) of clearance around the table so chairs and benches can move comfortably. Then consider how often you host and how many people you typically seat. An extendable dining set provides a compact, refined footprint for everyday meals, and expands when you need more seating. For example, the Nova Dining Table Set extends to seat up to 10 people, making it a strong choice for homes that entertain frequently or have larger households, while still feeling balanced in regular use. An extendable dining set like this adapts gracefully whether it’s everyday dining or a full house.

Information

What is an extendable dining set?

An extendable dining set is designed to grow and contract with the rhythm of your home, offering generous seating when the house is full and a composed footprint when it’s not. Rather than dedicating space to a permanently large table, an extendable set uses integrated expansion elements to adapt seamlessly as guests arrive. In the Nova Gathering Dining Set, the table and dual benches work together to create a balanced, flexible layout that supports everything from everyday meals to large celebrations, allowing one dining space to comfortably serve every stage of life.

What are the benefits of an extendable dining table set?

An extendable dining table set offers the freedom to host generously without committing your space to a large footprint every day. It allows your dining area to remain open, calm, and visually balanced for daily life, then expand smoothly when more people gather around the table. Featuring coordinated, adaptable seating, an extendable dining table set maintains a cohesive look while eliminating the need for extra furniture or last-minute solutions. For homes that host often or evolve over time, an extendable dining set provides long-term flexibility, efficient use of space, and a hosting setup that adjusts naturally as life grows fuller.

I love my new table
This table is huge and very easy to make it bigger or smaller. Wipes off very nicely. It is also very sturdy. I’m very happy with my purchase. I ordered the smoked hickory. It is very sharp looking colour.

Great table!!
We traded our old traditional dining room table from early 1990's and we love the ease of changing the length that we need. We bought the benches too, so we didn't have to store all the chairs!! It is a great product.
