About our Extendable Tables

Transformer Table offers extendable dining tables for every part of the home, including the Transformer Table, Transformer Round Table, Transformer Nova Table, and Transformer Outdoor Table. For farmhouse-inspired dining, explore the Savor Collection, featuring a rectangular table with sculpted pedestal bases, and the Gather Collection, available with rectangular or round-to-oval tables and customizable two-tone finishes.

Our collection also includes the Transformer Table to Desk, a dining table that converts into a home office desk with hidden monitor storage. From indoor dining rooms and apartments to patios, backyards, and remote workspaces, each expandable dining table is built to make room for everyday use, hosting, and more.

Transformer Table offers dining tables for every kind of space, meal, and routine. Choose the original Transformer Table for a rectangular extendable dining table that seats two to twelve, the Transformer Round Table for a round dining table that expands into an oval table, or the Transformer Nova Table for a square-to-rectangular dining table that seats up to ten. For farmhouse dining tables, choose the Savor Collection for European-inspired styling and a rectangular pedestal table that seats up to sixteen. The Gather Collection brings American farmhouse character in two shapes: a rectangular table for up to sixteen or a round-to-oval table for up to ten. Choose from two-tone finishes to make Gather your own.

For work and dining in the same room, the Table to Desk converts from a dining table for six into a home office desk with hidden monitor storage. For patios, decks, and backyards, the Transformer Outdoor Table gives you an extendable outdoor dining table made for meals, weekends, and guests outside.

Browse by table shape, seating range, and finishes to compare which expandable dining table is best for you. Whether you need a dining room table, round extendable dining table, farmhouse dining table, outdoor dining table, or desk-to-dining table, find the Transformer Table that makes room for more in your home.

An expandable dining table gives you one surface for the way your home actually works. Keep it smaller for everyday meals, coffee, homework, or a quick laptop session. Add panels to your extendable table when you need more room for guests, serving dishes, projects, or a full dining room table.

From dining rooms and apartments to workspaces and outdoor areas, our expandable dining tables make room for meals, hosting, projects, remote work, and more of everyday life.

The right extendable dining table starts with where you use it most: dining room, kitchen, workspace, patio, or backyard. Each Transformer Table collection is built around a different table shape and use case, with extendable dining set configurations that can include benches, chairs, or both.

Transformer Dining Sets: Our original rectangular extendable dining table, made for dining rooms, apartments, condos, and family homes. It starts as a compact console and expands to seat up to twelve, with matching extendable benches, stackable chairs, and a Lift-Top Coffee Table for panel storage.

Round Dining Sets: A round extendable dining table that starts as a 45" round dining table and expands into an oval dining table for up to ten. Pair it with curved dining benches, round dining chairs, or both to create the round dining table set that fits your room and the way you host. Best of all, your round table panels are seamlessly stored in our Transformer Round Sideboard.

Nova Dining Sets: A square-to-rectangular extendable dining table that starts at 43.9" × 43.9" and expands to 104.1" long for up to ten people. Nova Dining Sets are available with benches, chairs, or both for a coordinated dining room table set. Nova Dining Table panels can be stored in our Nova Sideboard.

Savor Dining Sets: A European farmhouse collection built around a rectangular dining table with sculpted baluster pedestals. The table extends from 72" to 152" with four removable panels, seating six to sixteen. Complete your set with upholstered dining chairs, an extendable bench, or both. The Savor Sideboard stores the table’s extension panels, while the bench stores its own panels inside.

Gather Dining Sets: An American farmhouse collection with two extendable table options. Choose the rectangular trestle table for seating up to sixteen, or the round-to-oval table for up to ten. Pair a Belgian Oak or French Chestnut tabletop with a Patina Black or Patina White base, then complete your setup with farmhouse dining chairs, an extendable bench, and a Gather Sideboard for table-panel storage.

Table to Desk: A dining table that converts into a home office desk, built for rooms that need to support both meals and remote work. It seats up to six as a dining table and opens into a desk setup with hidden monitor storage. We also offer the Transformer Table to Desk - Double.

Transformer Outdoor Table: An extendable outdoor dining table made for patios, decks, balconies, and backyards. Pair it with outdoor dining chairs, benches, or both, then extend the table to 111.5" long with five removable panels for outdoor meals and gatherings of up to twelve.

All Transformer dining table collections are made to help you compare by shape, seating range, room type, and daily use. Choose the table that fits your space now, with room for more when life calls for it.

Simple care helps keep your expandable dining table ready for daily meals, work sessions, projects, and gatherings.

• Wipe indoor extendable dining tables, benches, chairs, and panels with a clean, slightly damp cloth after use.
• Dry the surface after cleaning to help protect the finish.
• Clean spills promptly, especially around panel seams, edges, hardware, and moving parts.
• Use a wood-specific cleaner when deeper cleaning is needed on indoor wood surfaces.
• Use coasters, placemats, and trivets under drinks, plates, hot dishes, and serving ware.
• Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, all-purpose cleaners, and excess water.
• Align extension panels carefully when adding or removing them.
• Store unused panels in the proper storage piece when your extendable table is set smaller. For Savor and Gather dining tables, use the matching collection’s sideboard to keep extension panels protected and organized.
• Keep indoor dining tables away from prolonged direct heat, moisture, and outdoor exposure.
• For the Outdoor Table, rinse with a garden hose, wash with mild soapy water, and wipe dry with a soft cloth, sponge, or car shammy.

These habits help every Transformer Table stay ready for everyday routines, full-table gatherings, outdoor meals, and more room when you need it.
