General information

What is an extendable farmhouse dining bench?

An extendable farmhouse dining bench combines the communal seating of a traditional farmhouse bench with a design that can grow when more people need a seat. The Savor Extendable Bench starts at 44" long and uses five included panels to extend up to 150", seating as many as six people for family meals, holidays, and larger gatherings.

What is better, a farmhouse dining bench or dining chairs?

A farmhouse dining bench is a strong choice when you want communal seating and the ability to fit several people along one side of the table. Dining chairs provide individual seats and back support, making them better suited to guests who prefer their own defined space. The Savor Collection lets you combine both approaches, pairing the extendable bench with Savor Dining Chairs for a coordinated European farmhouse dining setup.

Is an extendable farmhouse dining bench better than a fixed dining bench?

An extendable farmhouse dining bench gives you more flexibility than a fixed bench when the number of people around your table changes. The Savor Extendable Bench can remain at 44" for a smaller setup and expand to 150" when more seating is needed. Its five panels also store inside the bench itself, so you can increase its length without finding separate storage for the extensions.

What are the benefits of an extendable farmhouse dining bench?

An extendable farmhouse dining bench gives you adaptable communal seating without requiring a row of extra individual chairs. The Savor Extendable Bench seats up to six people, expands alongside the Savor Dining Table, and stores all five of its extension panels within an open central compartment. Its pedestal design also mirrors the table, helping the pieces feel like one coordinated European farmhouse collection.
