General information

What are Gather Dining Chairs?

Gather Dining Chairs are high-backed farmhouse dining chairs designed to coordinate with both the rectangular and round Gather dining tables. Each chair combines a solid wood frame with an ergonomically contoured crossbuck backrest and upholstered seat, bringing supportive individual seating to the collection’s traditional farmhouse design.

Are Gather Dining Chairs comfortable?

Yes. Gather Dining Chairs feature ergonomically contoured crossbuck backrests and upholstered seating designed for comfort around the table. Their high-backed construction gives each guest individual support for weeknight meals, family dinners, and longer gatherings.

What are Gather Dining Chairs made from?

Gather Dining Chairs are made from solid hevea wood with water-repellent 100% polyester upholstery. Reinforced interlocking joinery strengthens the chair frame, while integrated leg levelers help provide stability around the dining table.

What finishes are available for the Gather Dining Chairs?

Gather Dining Chairs are available in two coordinated wood-and-fabric pairings: Belgian Oak with Creamy fabric and French Chestnut with Pewter fabric. These pairings are designed to coordinate with the Gather Collection’s table, bench, and sideboard finishes.

Can Gather Dining Chairs be used with both Gather dining tables?

Yes. Gather Dining Chairs are designed to pair with both the Gather Extendable Dining Table and the Gather Round Dining Table, giving you one chair style that works across both the rectangular and round-to-oval dining setups.

Are farmhouse dining chairs better than a dining bench?

Farmhouse dining chairs are a better fit if you prefer individual seats and back support. An extendable farmhouse dining bench is better suited to communal seating and can accommodate several people along one side of the table. The Gather Collection lets you use chairs, a bench, or a combination of both depending on how you prefer to seat family and guests.
