What size tablecloth do I need for a round table?

For your round dining table, the tablecloth size depends on the amount of drape you prefer. For a casual look, add 8-12 inches to the table's diameter. For example, a 48-inch table would require a 60-72 inch tablecloth. For a more formal look with a longer drop (15-20 inches), opt for a 90-108 inch tablecloth. However, if you prefer a minimalist approach, you can skip the tablecloth altogether to showcase the natural beauty of the wood finish. This works especially well with your modern round dining table, highlighting its craftsmanship and design.

What size round table seats 8 to 10?

To seat 8 to 10 people comfortably, the Transformer Round Table is an excellent choice. The base dimensions are 45" in diameter and 30" in height. With its extendable design, the table adds 20 inches in length with each panel, allowing it to expand to fit up to 10 guests. This flexibility ensures your round dining table set can adapt to both smaller and larger gatherings. The modern wood finish enhances its sleek look, while its expandable nature offers space-saving functionality. It’s a perfect blend of style and practicality.Round Dining Table Dimensions: Height: 30"Width: 45"Length: 45"Each panel adds 20" to the length.

How do I measure a round table?

To measure a round table, begin by measuring its diameter, which is the distance across the table from one edge to the opposite edge, passing through the center. If the table is extendable, measure the diameter in both its collapsed and fully expanded states. This helps you understand the range of sizes it can offer. When planning for a round dining table set, ensure there is adequate space around the table for chairs and movement. For our expandable round dining table, size is never a concern, as it can easily be adjusted to fit your space.

General information

What is an extendable round table?

A round table is a versatile and inviting furniture piece, designed to foster open, easy conversations. Its circular shape eliminates corners, allowing everyone to be within reach of each other, which makes it perfect for social gatherings. Our round dining tables offer the flexibility to adjust the size to suit your needs, whether for an intimate gathering or holiday hosting. Made with durable wood, our round dining tables are both functional and stylish, ensuring that your dining space remains modern and welcoming. Choose from our selection of round table dining sets, designed to complement any decor and make the most of your space.

How do I decorate a round dining table?

When decorating a round dining table, the key is to create a balanced and inviting atmosphere. For an extendable round dining table, a simple, elegant centerpiece such as a fresh floral arrangement or a sleek candleholder can make a statement without overwhelming the space. Pair the table with matching round dining chairs or a coordinating bench to enhance the overall look. Whether you choose a modern round dining table or a wood round dining table, aim to blend functionality with style to reflect your personality while maintaining practicality for everyday use.

What are the benefits of a round dining table?

With its timeless design, an extendable round dining table enhances any room. It’s ideal for homes where space and style matter. The ability to extend the table when needed means it can comfortably seat more guests, while its compact form ensures it doesn’t dominate smaller spaces. A round wood dining table version adds a natural, warm touch to your dining area, complementing your modern home decor.

Exactly as I envisioned
This solid Scandinavian oak round table is a sturdy, space-saving powerhouse that transforms effortlessly using three leaves. While the build quality is rock-solid, I believe TT has an opportunity to eventually create tabletops with more design options. Overall, it is a beautiful, highly reliable piece that perfectly balances Nordic design with hosting flexibility. I am very pleased!

Very Pleased with Transformer Table
For quite some time, I had been searching for the right dining room furniture. After visiting numerous furniture stores and searching online without much success, I came across one of Transformer Table’s social media advertisements.
I visited their website, where I scheduled a virtual consultation. I also stopped by a local store to see several of their products in person. I was very impressed with the quality and design and decided to pursue the 7-piece Royal Walnut Host Dining Set with the Round Sideboard.
I had my virtual consultation with Tashi, and she was absolutely outstanding. She took the time to listen carefully, answer every question thoroughly, and never made me feel rushed. She was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our conversation. Afterward, she even followed up by sending additional photos of the exact set I was considering, highlighting the finish, chair styles, and other details that helped me make an informed decision.
Following my conversation with Tashi, I placed my order. This was my very first experience with Transformer Table, and first impressions matter. Tashi represented your company and your brand exceptionally well. Employees like her are the reason customers develop confidence and loyalty. She made what could have been an overwhelming purchasing decision both enjoyable and stress-free.
My delivery and assembly experience was just as positive. From start to finish, it was a great experience, and I received…

I couldn’t be more happy. I was worried about putting it together but I called a friend and the 2 of us 60 plus year old ladies got it in the house and together!
