Where do the Gather extension panels go when not in use?

Each Gather Extendable Bench stores all five of its own extension panels inside an open central compartment. With two benches, that means 10 bench panels are stored directly within the seating. The dining table’s four extension panels can be stored inside the Gather Sideboard, which includes dedicated panel storage for the rectangular Gather table.

What are the dimensions of the rectangular Gather Extendable Dining Table?

The rectangular Gather Extendable Dining Table measures 48" wide by 72" long by 30" high when compact. Four included panels, each measuring 48" by 20", extend the dining table to 152" long. Its deep overhangs and trestle legs are designed to provide comfortable seating around the table as it grows.

How do I care for my Gather extendable farmhouse dining set?

Wipe the Gather dining table and both benches with a soft, damp cloth, following the direction of the wood grain. Use a mild wood-specific cleaner when deeper cleaning is needed, avoid abrasive products and excess moisture, and use placemats or coasters to help protect the surfaces during meals.Natural grain variations, cathedral figures, and small knots are expected in Gather finishes and contribute to the lived-in character of the real wood.

General information

What is an extendable farmhouse dining set?

An extendable farmhouse dining set combines traditional farmhouse character with a dining table and seating that can grow as more people gather. This rectangular Gather set pairs one extendable trestle dining table with two matching extendable benches, creating communal seating on both sides for family meals, holidays, and larger gatherings.

Is an extendable farmhouse dining set better than a fixed dining set?

An extendable farmhouse dining set is a strong option if you want substantial communal seating without keeping the furniture at full size every day. The Gather Dining Table adjusts from 72" to 152", while each bench grows from 44" to 150". You can keep the entire setup more compact for everyday dining, then extend all three pieces when more people need a place at the table.

What are the benefits of an extendable farmhouse dining table set with two benches?

An extendable farmhouse dining table set with two benches creates flexible, family-style seating without relying on rows of individual chairs. Each Gather Extendable Bench seats up to six people, giving you communal seating along both sides of the table. The benches also repeat the table’s crossbuck trestle motif, creating a coordinated farmhouse dining setup from end to end.
