What are the dimensions of the Gather Extendable Round Table?

The Gather Extendable Round Table measures 48" by 48" by 30" high when compact. Three included panels, each measuring 48" by 20", extend the table to 108" long by 48" wide by 30" high. It changes from a round table seating four into a racetrack oval that seats up to 10.

Where do the Gather Round extension panels go when not in use?

The Gather Round Table includes three extension panels that can be stored inside the Gather Sideboard, which is designed to accommodate the Gather table panels. The matching curved-end bench also includes built-in storage for its own extension panels, keeping the pieces needed to expand the seating close at hand.

How do I care for my Gather round farmhouse dining set?

Wipe the table, bench, and solid wood chair frames with a soft, damp cloth and follow the direction of the wood grain. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and excess moisture. For the upholstered Gather Dining Chairs, clean spills promptly and follow the recommended care instructions for the water-repellent polyester fabric. Natural grain variations, cathedral figures, and small knots are expected in Gather wood finishes and contribute to the character of each piece.

General information

What is an extendable round farmhouse dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set gives you the closer feel of a round table for everyday meals with the ability to create more dining space when guests arrive. This Gather set combines a round-to-oval trestle dining table, a curved-end bench, and six upholstered chairs, giving you both communal and individual seating options around one adaptable table.

Is an extendable round farmhouse dining set better than a fixed dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set is a strong choice if you like a compact round table day to day but need more room for larger gatherings. The Gather Round Table begins at 48" round and expands to 108" long, changing into a racetrack oval that seats up to 10. You get two useful table sizes and shapes without keeping a large oval dining table in the room all the time.

What are the benefits of a round farmhouse dining table set with a bench and chairs?

This Gather dining set gives you more choice in how people sit around the table. The curved-end bench provides communal seating for up to four, while six Gather Dining Chairs offer individual upholstered seats with supportive crossbuck backrests. The mix works well when you want the flexibility of bench seating without giving up traditional dining chairs.

Why does this Gather dining set include a curved-end bench?

The Gather Extendable Curved-End Bench is designed specifically for the Gather Round Table. Its curved ends follow the table’s rounded shape, help improve movement around the dining area, and provide a comfortable edge for seating. Its crossbuck trestle detailing also connects visually with the table base.

Is the Gather Round Table a round or oval farmhouse dining table?

It is both. In its compact configuration, the Gather Round Table is a 48" round farmhouse dining table. As extension panels are added, it becomes a racetrack oval dining table, reaching 108" long with all three panels installed.
