Wipe the dining table and solid wood chair frames with a soft, damp cloth and clean in the direction of the wood grain. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and excess moisture. Natural grain variations, cathedral figures, and small knots are expected in Gather wood finishes and contribute to the character of the real wood.

General information

What is an extendable round farmhouse dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set gives you a compact round table for everyday meals with the option to create more dining space when needed. This Gather set pairs a round-to-oval trestle dining table with six upholstered chairs, creating a traditional chair-based setup that can adapt from smaller meals to larger gatherings.

Is an extendable round farmhouse dining set better than a fixed dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set gives you more flexibility if you do not need a large table every day. The Gather Round Table begins at 48" round and extends to 108" long, so you can keep the closer feel of a round dining table for regular meals and create a larger oval setup when family or guests arrive.

What are the benefits of a round farmhouse dining table set with chairs?

A round farmhouse dining table set with chairs gives each guest an individual seat while keeping the table adaptable for different occasions. This Gather configuration includes six high-backed upholstered chairs with ergonomically contoured crossbuck backrests, while the table can expand from seating four to accommodating up to 10 people.

Is the Gather Round Table a round or oval farmhouse dining table?

It works as both. In its compact configuration, the Gather is a 48" round farmhouse dining table. As the extension panels are added, it becomes a racetrack oval farmhouse dining table, reaching 108" long with all three panels installed.

Is the Gather Round Table a trestle dining table?

Yes. The Gather Round Table is a round-to-oval trestle dining table supported by angled crossbuck legs. The strong lines of the trestle base give the table its traditional farmhouse character while contrasting with the rounded tabletop.
