What are the dimensions of the Gather Extendable Round Table?

The Gather Extendable Round Table measures 48" by 48" by 30" high in its compact configuration. Three included panels, each measuring 48" by 20", extend the table to 108" long by 48" wide by 30" high when fully open. It expands from a round dining table seating four to a racetrack oval seating up to 10.

Where do the Gather Round extension panels go when not in use?

The Gather Extendable Curved-End Bench stores its three extension panels directly inside its open central compartment. The Gather Round Table’s three extension panels can be stored inside the Gather Sideboard, which is designed to accommodate the table panels from both Gather table shapes.

How do I care for my Gather round farmhouse dining set?

Wipe the dining table and curved-end bench with a soft, damp cloth and clean in the direction of the wood grain. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and excess moisture, and use placemats or coasters to help protect the tabletop. Natural wood grain variations, cathedral figures, and small knots are expected in Gather finishes and contribute to the character of each piece.

Description

The Gather Dining Set - Table + Bench (Round) is an extendable farmhouse dining set that pairs a round-to-oval trestle dining table with a matching curved-end bench for flexible communal seating. The Gather Extendable Round Table starts as a 48" round farmhouse dining table for four and expands to a 108" racetrack oval with three included panels, creating room for up to 10 people.

Its matching Gather Extendable Curved-End Bench grows alongside the dining table and seats up to four people. Curved ends help improve movement around the setup, while the bench’s crossbuck trestle motif coordinates with the angled base of the round-to-oval dining table.

General information

What is an extendable round farmhouse dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set combines the welcoming shape of a round dining table with a design that can grow for larger gatherings. The Gather set starts with a 48" round trestle dining table for four, then expands into a 108" racetrack oval that seats up to 10. The matching curved-end bench extends with it, giving you adaptable communal seating as the table grows.

Is an extendable round farmhouse dining set better than a fixed dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set is useful if you like the intimacy of a round table for everyday meals but need more space when guests arrive. The Gather Round Table stays at 48" when compact and extends to 108" as a racetrack oval, while the curved-end bench can grow from 44" to 107". You get a smaller round setup day to day without giving up room for larger gatherings.

What are the benefits of a round-to-oval farmhouse dining table set?

A round-to-oval farmhouse dining table set gives you two useful table shapes in one design. The Gather Round Table begins as a circle that encourages closer everyday dining, then extends into an oval farmhouse dining table for larger groups. Its angled crossbuck trestle legs and matching curved-end bench maintain a coordinated farmhouse look as the shape and seating capacity change.

Why does the Gather Round Dining Set use a curved-end bench?

The Gather Extendable Curved-End Bench is designed specifically to complement the fluid lines of the Gather Round Table. Its curved ends help improve traffic around the dining setup and create a smoother seating edge, while the crossbuck trestle motif ties the bench visually to the table base.

Is the Gather Round Table a trestle dining table?

Yes. The Gather Round Table is a round-to-oval trestle dining table with angled crossbuck legs beneath the tabletop. The strong converging lines of the base contrast with the table’s rounded contours, giving it the structural character of a traditional trestle dining table in a softer shape.
