What are the dimensions of the Gather Extendable Round Table?

The Gather Extendable Round Table measures 48" by 48" by 30" high in its compact configuration. Three included panels, each measuring 48" by 20", extend the table to 108" long by 48" wide by 30" high. It changes from a round dining table seating four to a racetrack oval seating up to 10.

Where do the Gather Round extension panels go when not in use?

The Gather Round Table’s three extension panels can be stored inside the Gather Sideboard, which is designed to hold the panels from the round table. Each Gather Curved-End Bench also stores its own extension panels directly inside an open central compartment, keeping the seating extensions with the benches between gatherings.

How do I care for my Gather round farmhouse dining set?

Wipe the table and both curved-end benches with a soft, damp cloth and clean in the direction of the wood grain. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and excess moisture, and use placemats or coasters to help protect the tabletop during everyday meals. Natural grain variations, cathedral figures, and small knots are expected in Gather wood finishes and contribute to the character of the real wood.

General information

What is an extendable round farmhouse dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set combines a compact round table with seating that can grow for larger gatherings. This Gather configuration includes a round-to-oval trestle dining table and two extendable curved-end benches, giving you communal seating on both sides while allowing the table to expand from seating four to up to 10 people.

Is an extendable round farmhouse dining set better than a fixed dining set?

An extendable round farmhouse dining set gives you more flexibility if you want a smaller round table for daily use but more room when family or guests arrive. The Gather Round Table expands from 48" round to 108" long, while both curved-end benches extend from 44" to 107". You can adjust all three pieces as the size of the gathering changes.

What are the benefits of a round farmhouse dining table set with two benches?

A round farmhouse dining table set with two benches creates generous communal seating without relying on individual chairs along both sides. Each Gather Curved-End Bench seats up to four people when extended, giving you seating for up to eight across the two benches. Their curved ends are also designed to make it easier to move around the table while maintaining a coordinated farmhouse look.

Why do the Gather Round benches have curved ends?

The curved ends are designed to complement the fluid shape of the Gather Round Table while improving movement around the dining area. They also provide a smooth seating edge and help distinguish the Gather Curved-End Bench from the rectangular Gather Extendable Bench.

Is the Gather Round Table a round or oval farmhouse dining table?

It works as both. The Gather Round Table begins as a 48" round farmhouse dining table, then becomes a racetrack oval farmhouse dining table as extension panels are added. With all three panels installed, it reaches 108" long and seats up to 10 people.
