This is a great coffee table. The panel storage aspect is obviously the selling point, and it more than delivers. The fact I can safely store ALL of the panels for the table in here is amazing. I no longer have to wrestle with finding a safe place to store them, either in a closet or attic or similar, and the headache of making sure they don't get damaged. The lifting top is also super convenient. Once the top if fully lifted, it makes a great surface for eating or even playing card games while at the couch. It does take some force to start the opening/closing process, which has been a positive for us. It means we don't have to worry about accidentally closing it when we didn't intend to, such as if one of our cats jump on top while it's open or we set something heavy on top.
This coffee table truly pairs perfectly with the dining table.

The coffee table is great for storing the table leafs. It would also be great for storage.
The top is holding up well, as we found out that the dog was walking on it and there are no scratches.
The height of the table is the only slight negative as it is too low, which made it easier for the dog to get on it.
